सुनि गुन देखि दसा पछिताहीं। कैकइ जननि जोगु सुतु नाहीं॥2॥

Hindi Meaning
"छोटे भाई शत्रुघ्न सहित भरतजी को देखकर हम सब भी आज धन्य (बड़भागिनी) स्त्रियों की गिनती में आ गईं। इस प्रकार भरतजी के गुण सुनकर और उनकी दशा देखकर स्त्रियाँ पछताती हैं और कहती हैं- यह पुत्र कैकयी जैसी माता के योग्य नहीं है॥2॥"
English Meaning
"…After seeing Shri Bharat and his younger Brother Shri Shatrughan today, we women feel truly blessed and among the most fortunate.” Moved by Bharat ji’s virtues and his humble state, the women lamented, saying, “Queen Kaikeyi is not worthy of having such a noble son.”"
