"उनका स्नेह देखकर लोग प्रेम में मग्न हो गए और सब घोड़े, हाथी, रथों को छोड़कर उनसे उतरकर पैदल चलने लगे। तब श्री रामचन्द्रजी की माता कौसल्याजी भरत के पास जाकर और अपनी पालकी उनके समीप खड़ी करके कोमल वाणी से बोलीं-॥2॥"
