Hindi Meaning
"दासियाँ मंत्री को व्याकुल देखकर उन्हें कौसल्याजी के महल में लिवा गईं। सुमंत्र ने जाकर वहाँ राजा को कैसा (बैठे) देखा मानो बिना अमृत का चन्द्रमा हो॥2॥"
English Meaning
"Seeing the Minister in such distress, the female attendants led him to Queen Kaushalya’s chambers. There, he saw King Dashrath, pale and without radiance, like the Moon drained of its nectar."
