Hindi Meaning
"पति के हृदय की जानने वाली सीताजी ने आनंद भरे मन से अपनी रत्न जडि़त अँगूठी (अँगुली से) उतारी। कृपालु श्री रामचन्द्रजी ने केवट से कहा, नाव की उतराई लो। केवट ने व्याकुल होकर चरण पकड़ लिए॥2॥"
English Meaning
"Sita ji, who understands the heart of Her beloved, joyfully removed her bejewelled ring and placed it in Shri Ram’s hand. The gracious Lord offered it to the boatman, saying, “Take this as your toll.” Upon hearing these words, Kevat grew restless and fell at Shri Ram’s feet, overcome with emotion."
