Hindi Meaning
"श्री रामजी, लक्ष्मणजी और सीताजी के रूप को देखकर गाँव के स्त्री-पुरुष प्रेम के साथ चर्चा करते हैं। (कोई कहती है-) हे सखी! कहो तो, वे माता-पिता कैसे हैं, जिन्होंने ऐसे (सुंदर सुकुमार) बालकों को वन में भेज दिया है॥1॥"
English Meaning
"Beholding the divine beauty of Shri Ram, Sita ji, and Lakshman ji, the men and women of the village were moved and spoke tenderly among themselves. One woman, overwhelmed with emotion, said, “Tell me, O’ Friend, what kind of parents could send such (delicate and noble) children into the forest?”"
