Hindi Meaning
"राजमहल से निकलकर श्री रामचन्द्रजी वशिष्ठजी के दरवाजे पर जा खड़े हुए और देखा कि सब लोग विरह की अग्नि में जल रहे हैं। उन्होंने प्रिय वचन कहकर सबको समझाया, फिर श्री रामचन्द्रजी ने ब्राह्मणों की मंडली को बुलाया॥1॥"
English Meaning
"They stepped out of the palace and stood at the gate of Guru Vashishth’s residence. There, they saw the people of Ayodhya burning with the agony of impending separation. Shri Ram spoke gentle, soothing words to comfort them. Then, Shri Raghuveer called upon the assembled groups of Brahmins."
