Hindi Meaning
"ऐसा कहकर सीताजी बहुत ही व्याकुल हो गईं। वे वचन के वियोग को भी न सम्हाल सकीं। (अर्थात शरीर से वियोग की बात तो अलग रही, वचन से भी वियोग की बात सुनकर वे अत्यन्त विकल हो गईं।) उनकी यह दशा देखकर श्री रघुनाथजी ने अपने जी में जान लिया कि हठपूर्वक इन्हें यहाँ रखने से ये प्राणों को न रखेंगी॥1॥"
English Meaning
"Saying these words, Sita ji was overcome with grief, She could not bear even the mention of separation from Her Lord, let alone the reality of it. Seeing Her state, Shri Ram understood in His heart that if Sita ji were forcibly left behind, She would not survive."
