Hindi Meaning
"फिर श्री रामजी की माता कौसल्याजी और गुरुजी के चरणों में सिर नवाकर और प्रभु की चरणपादुकाओं की आज्ञा पाकर धर्म की धुरी धारण करने में धीर भरतजी ने नन्दिग्राम में पर्णकुटी बनाकर उसी में निवास किया॥1॥"
English Meaning
"After bowing at the feet of Shri Ram’s mother and Guru Vashishth, and seeking the blessing of the Lord’s sandals, Shri Bharat, embodiment of righteousness, proceeded to Nandigram (carrying Shri Ram’s sandals reverently upon his head). There, he built for himself a humble hut of leaves and made it his dwelling place."
