"छोटे भाई लक्ष्मणजी समेत श्री रामजी ने राजा जनकजी को सिर नवाकर उनकी बहुत प्रकार से विनती और बड़ाई की (और कहा-) हे देव! दयावश आपने बहुत दुःख पाया। आप समाज सहित वन में आए॥1॥"
English Meaning
"After this, Shri Ram, accompanied by His younger brother Lakshman ji, bowed humbly before King Janak. With words filled with reverence and praise, He said, “O’ Revered King, moved by compassion, You endured great hardships and journeyed to the forest with Your entire entourage…"
