Hindi Meaning
"हे तात! तुम सूर्यकुल की रीति को, सत्यप्रतिज्ञ पिताजी की कीर्ति और प्रीति को, समय, समाज और गुरुजनों की लज्जा (मर्यादा) को तथा उदासीन, मित्र और शत्रु सबके मन की बात को जानते हो॥1॥"
English Meaning
"…O’ Dear brother! You are well aware of the tradition of the Solar dynasty, the glory and the loving sacrifice of our truthful Father, the honour and dignity of time, society, and the revered Gurus, as well as the thoughts that dwell in the hearts of all, be they indifferent, friend, or foe…"
