Hindi Meaning
"कुटिल कैकेयी मन ही मन ग्लानि (पश्चाताप) से गली जाती है। किससे कहे और किसको दोष दे? और सब नर-नारी मन में ऐसा विचार कर प्रसन्न हो रहे हैं कि (अच्छा हुआ, जनकजी के आने से) चार (कुछ) दिन और रहना हो गया॥1॥"
English Meaning
"Queen Kaikeyi, burdened with guilt, could neither confide in anyone nor lay blame on anyone for her deceitful deeds. Meanwhile, men and women alike rejoiced, cherishing the hope that they might now remain in Chitrakoot for a few more days and bask in the divine presence of Shri Ram."
