"(गुप्त) दूतों ने आकर राजा जनकजी की सभा में भरतजी की करनी का अपनी बुद्धि के अनुसार वर्णन किया। उसे सुनकर गुरु, कुटुम्बी, मंत्री और राजा सभी सोच और स्नेह से अत्यन्त व्याकुल हो गए॥1॥"
