भरतजी का चित्रकूट में पहुँचना, भरतादि सबका परस्पर मिलाप, पिता का शोक और श्राद्ध – Bharat arrives at Chitrakoot, Bharat and party meet others, mourning of king’s death and homage to the departed soul

"सीताजी और सब रानियाँ स्नेह के मारे व्याकुल हैं। तब ज्ञानी गुरु ने सबको बैठ जाने के लिए कहा। फिर मुनिनाथ वशिष्ठजी ने जगत की गति को मायिक कहकर (अर्थात जगत माया का है, इसमें कुछ भी नित्य नहीं है, ऐसा कहकर) कुछ परमार्थ की कथाएँ (बातें) कहीं॥1॥"

"Sita ji and the Queens, overwhelmed by deep affection, were filled with sorrow. The all-wise Guru gently asked them to sit. The Chief of Sages began by explaining the illusory nature of the world, the bonds of material attachment, and the endless cycle of birth and death that all beings undergo. He then narrated sacred legends that revealed the path of righteousness, the Supreme Truth, and the glory of the Almighty."
