Hindi Meaning
"भावार्थ : प्रभु को मेरी यह विपत्ति कौन सुनावे? यज्ञ के अन्न को गदहा खाना चाहता है। सीताजी का भारी विलाप सुनकर जड़-चेतन सभी जीव दुःखी हो गए॥3॥"
English Meaning
"…Who will go and tell my Lord of the calamity that has befallen me? A vile donkey dares to devour the sacred sacrificial offering.” Hearing Sita ji’s heart-rending cries, all beings, animate and inanimate alike, were plunged into deep sorrow."
