Hindi Meaning
"भावार्थ : (शिवजी कहते हैं-) हे पार्वती! श्री रामचंद्रजी गुणातीत (तीनों गुणों से परे), चराचर जगत् के स्वामी और सबके अंतर की जानने वाले हैं। (उपर्युक्त बातें कहकर) उन्होंने कामी लोगों की दीनता (बेबसी) दिखलाई है और धीर (विवेकी) पुरुषों के मन में वैराग्य को दृढ़ किया है॥1॥"
English Meaning
"Lord Shiv says to Parvati ji, “O’ Uma, Shri Ram is beyond the three modes of nature (goodness, passion, and ignorance). He is the Supreme Lord of all beings, both animate and inanimate, and He alone knows the innermost thoughts of every heart. Through His discourse with Lakshman, He has revealed the helplessness of the lustful and has strengthened the spirit of renunciation in the hearts of the steadfast and wise…"
